I consider that in 2023, the hand services in major units are the norm and the process of establishing a hand service is an interesting phenomenon. Caring for hands and the people attached to them is a multifaceted task and so careful consideration of those facets is the first step. Supportive administration is an absolute requirement. Despite the fact that hand units are a benefit to society by shortening the injury time, particularly for the working population. Statistics are clear regarding this which is of value in discussion and negotiations with those in charge of the decision-making regarding cost-effectiveness of hospital activities
